Job summary

Asset Living in Manitou Springs, CO is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, administration and risk management, and help optimize cash flow.

Your duties include posting payments, reconciling accounts, pursuing delinquent balances, driving budget performance, posting charges, and completing end-of-month reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants, residents, and non-residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt, send late notices, contact residents and guarantors, and file evictions.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident and non-resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Close end-of-month procedures and reporting.
