Job summary

Asset Living in Sacramento is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, budgeting, leasing, maintenance, and compliance, ensuring smooth cash flow and risk management onsite.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred) or related experience, strong customer service, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Manage rent collection, accounts receivable, and budget adherence to optimize cash flow.
• Lease, market, and show units; supervise onsite staff and training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
