Job summary

Asset Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions at our housing community. You will help the Community Manager with delinquency control, rent collection, and cash-flow optimization while supervising staff and ensuring compliance with policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree or housing-industry experience.

Qualifications

• Must understand posting payments, reconciling receivables, and tracking income.
• Experience with rent collection, delinquency management, and evictions process.
• Ability to use onsite property management software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from all residents.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, contact residents/guarantors, and file evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Prepare end-of-month closings and reports.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Inspect units and post move-out charges and deposits.
