Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations across leasing, maintenance, finances, and risk management for a housing community. You will help manage accounts, collect rent, supervise onsite staff, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety guidelines.

Strong communication, organization, and customer service are essential. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations under supervision of Community Manager.
• Oversee leasing, maintenance, financial administration & risk management.
• Post payments, reconcile receivables, and monitor rent collections to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain property appearance.
