Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will help with rent collection, delinquency control, and cash-flow optimization while supervising staff and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or related housing experience.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions and basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately.
• Reconcile daily accounts receivable and manage bad debt and evictions.
• Support budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks.
• Maintain property appearance and ensure timely repairs and inspections.
• Plan resources, obtain bids, and manage vendor relationships.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred
