Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety, fair housing laws, and risk management.

As an on-site leader, you will develop budgets, lead leasing initiatives, monitor vendor invoices, and respond to resident concerns to maximize satisfaction and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent;Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff using company directives.
• Ensure staff performance through ongoing training, coaching, and guidance.
• Prepare weekly/daily office and maintenance staff schedules.
• Address performance problems and coordinate with HR when necessary.
• Develop resident retention programs and handle resident complaints.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents; manage leasing reporting.
• Head emergency team and ensure timely responses to property emergencies.
