Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site under supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and finances while ensuring policy and fair housing compliance.

As the on-site leader, you’ll supervise staff, develop budgets, and drive resident satisfaction through proactive leasing, marketing plans, and service excellence. A CAM/ARM or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with Asset’s policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Lead emergency response and maintain property standards and resident satisfaction.
