Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Madison Grove to oversee the daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, post payments, reconcile receivables, monitor collections, and assist in budgeting to meet revenue and NOI targets while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income from applicants, current residents, and non-current residents accurately and timely.
• Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivables.
• Monitoring and following up on bad debt; preparing late notices, contacting residents and guarantors, and filing evictions.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income (NOI).
• Posting charges to resident accounts, including bill-backs of utilities where applicable.
• Handling end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintaining organized records; auditing resident files for accuracy.
• Walking units and posting move-out charges, statements, and security deposits refunds.
• Ensuring regular on-site attendance and staff coaching per directives.
