Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Hilliard, OH to oversee daily operations and the financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager.

You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with safety, fair housing guidelines, and company policies. This role focuses on optimizing cash flow and property performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or 2 years in housing industry.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and issue late notices; file evictions.
• Assist with meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts including bill backs of utilities.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized resident files and audit records.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and refunds.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance.
