Job summary

London Approach in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Google Workspace & Chromebook IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support within an educational environment.

The role will primarily support Chromebooks, Google Workspace for Education, Google Classroom, user accounts, classroom technology, and day-to-day technical issues for students, teachers, faculty and staff, with onsite work Monday–Friday and a base salary up to $50,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support, help desk, desktop support, or educational technology support.
• Hands-on Chromebook support experience.
• Experience with Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meet).
• Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education and Google Classroom.
• Ability to troubleshoot user accounts, passwords, device access, apps, and connectivity.
• Ability to set up, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, Chromebooks, and peripherals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work onsite daily in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for students, teachers, faculty, and administrative staff.
• Troubleshoot and support Google Chromebooks, including hardware issues, login problems, connectivity, applications, peripherals, and device performance
• Support Google Workspace for Education, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meet, and related Google applications
• Assist with Google Classroom access, user issues, application troubleshooting, and classroom technology support
• Support user accounts through the Google Admin Console, including password resets, account access, groups, permissions, and organizational units
• Configure, enroll, deploy, replace, and troubleshoot Chromebooks and other end-user devices
• Assist with Chromebook inventory, asset tracking, device assignments, and lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, printing, and other basic network-related issues affecting classroom technology
• Support classroom A/V equipment, interactive displays, projectors, printers, document cameras, and other educational technology
• Assist teachers and staff with technology setup and troubleshooting during classroom instruction
• Respond to help desk tickets, document resolutions, escalate technical issues when necessary, and provide timely follow-up
• Assist with new employee and student technology setup, account provisioning, device preparation, and access requests
• Assist with device policies, updates, security settings, application deployment, and basic endpoint administration
• Provide basic support for Windows computers and Microsoft applications when needed
• Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting users with varying levels of technical experience
