Job summary

Vicksburg-Warren School District is seeking an Education Technology Computer Technician stationed at the district office to provide district-wide IT support and maintenance for district devices and services.

Responsibilities include Chromebook management, MacBooks, Windows devices, Google Workspace, access control, and AV systems. Strong training and customer service for teachers and staff are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
Experience supporting Google Workspace, MacBooks, Windows devices, Chromebooks in education.
Certifications such as Google Certified Educator, ACSP, or CompTIA A+ are a plus.
Strong problem-solving and customer service in a district setting.

Responsibilities

Provide district-wide IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Manage Chromebooks via Google Admin Console; handle hardware and OS issues.
Support Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Classroom) and user access.
Assist with access control, camera, and AV systems troubleshooting.
Train staff and students on technology use and best practices.
