Job summary

Sussex-Wantage Regional School District is seeking a part-time Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support across the district. This role includes installing and maintaining computer systems, responding to help desk requests, and managing the Chromebook fleet.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of hardware and software installation. This position requires the ability to travel to various school locations and perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Previous experience with Chromebooks preferred.
• Related college, technical school, or certifications a plus.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License and/or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain computer operating systems and application software.
• Maintain the district's Chromebook fleet.
• Perform basic virus removal on infected devices.
• Respond to help desk tickets in a timely fashion.
• Provide technical support to users of hardware and software.
