Career Team is seeking a Career Advisor to provide counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services. You will work onsite under the supervision of the Project Director to help community members access workforce resources and opportunities.

The role requires 5+ years in operations, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Travel and collaboration with partners are part of the job at various One-Stop sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination with 5+ years in operations.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision making.
• Computer literate with MS Word and Excel; able to learn databases and software systems.
• Experience serving diverse communities and being culturally sensitive.

Responsabilités

• Provide information and case management services to the community.
• Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs via interviewing and testing.
• Enter data into participant information systems and related databases.
• Develop Individual Employment Plans (IEP) for customers.
• Meet and exceed program benchmarks and participate in staff events.
