Job summary

Career Team seeks a dedicated Career Advisor (Case Manager) to deliver intensive case management and career counseling under WIOA Title I in Orange County, CA. You'll help participants set employment goals, overcome barriers, and pursue sustainable jobs.

Documentation, compliance with federal/state policies, and strong client support are essential as you guide readiness activities, training referrals, and job development for up to 80 active participants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, workforce development, training, counseling, customer service, or related human services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse population with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
• Ability to motivate participants and serve as a positive role model.
• Full professional fluency in Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management services to registered customers within the One-Stop Workforce system.
• Conduct intake, eligibility determination, and enrollment for WIOA Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker participants.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) and OA summaries.
• Maintain regular contact with participants through in-person, virtual, and telephone appointments.
• Provide job development and assist participants in unsubsidized job placement earning a livable wage.
• Will carry up to 80 active participants, follow-up up to 100.
