Job summary

Career Team in Covington, TN is seeking a Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services onsite under the supervision of the WIOA Program Lead. You will help participants access resources and support services to advance employment goals.

Responsibilities include intake and eligibility support, assessing client needs, guiding the development of individual employment plans, and maintaining accurate case files while meeting program benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; ability to learn specialized databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community and eligible participants.
• Collaborate with Intake Specialist to complete intake and eligibility for the workforce program.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment needs through interviewing and testing.
• Guide job seekers through individual employment plans based on goals.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet program benchmarks.
