Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention environment in Reno. You will ensure flawless events, assist guests on-site, and build strong client relationships while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Expect irregular hours in a dynamic events setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
• Accurately complete system entry and paperwork.
• Collaborate with clients to finalize invoices and coordinate with vendors.
• Utilize Navigator for order entries as needed.
