Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada is seeking an AV Technician to join our hospitality team. You will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of meeting room AV systems, ensuring flawless events for guests and colleagues.

You will install audio visual hardware, test equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations. A minimum of 1–2 years in a fast-paced environment and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
• 1–2 years' experience in a high paced environment.
• Familiar with audio visual concepts.
• Experience with networking and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install audiovisual hardware for end users.
• Assist in installation of advanced AV hardware and software.
• Set up meeting rooms with AV equipment for events.
• Perform routine room setups and operational tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on AV hardware.
• Test, evaluate, and install AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
• Provide training on hardware and software use.
• Coordinate with vendors for assistance when needed.
• Prepare reports of work performed.
• Assist in projects and other duties as assigned.
