Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will work with events, ensuring equipment functions properly and guests are satisfied on-site.

The role emphasizes customer service, collaboration with hotel staff, and accurate documentation. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, some AV experience, and a valid driver's license. On-site work hours are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure successful events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships on-site.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues as they arise.
• Complete system entry and paperwork accurately; coordinate with other staff and vendors.
• Assist with invoicing and up-selling of services when appropriate.
