Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience and 1 year of AV experience, with a valid driver's license. Expect to work on-site in a dynamic hotel/conference environment with potential irregular hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic / small-scale audiovisual equipment and handles setup, operation, and breakdown.
• Delivers customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and maintains client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues with timely, professional problem solving.
• Completes order entries and uses equipment sheets to manage scheduled gear and invoicing.
• Works with clients to finalize invoices and interacts with staff and vendors as needed.
