Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic / small-scale audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center. You will ensure customer satisfaction by addressing guests on site, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with staff and vendors to meet event needs.

The role requires a High School Diploma (associate degree preferred), prior customer service or hospitality experience, and basic AV knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must complete training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately and interact with staff and vendors.
• Increase revenue by floor up-selling and assist with client invoicing.
