Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site, supervising staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management.

You will ensure compliance with fair housing, manage budgets, marketing plans, and resident relations, while coordinating with the Regional Manager to meet financial and service goals. This role requires 2+ years in affordable housing or similar, with LIHTC/HUD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with housing software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and daily on‑site supervision.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor expenses.
• Oversee leasing, resident relations, and marketing plans.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and risk management.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure timely work orders and make‑readies.
