Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community on-site under the Community Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, collect rent, and support risk management to optimize cash flow.

Attention to compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies is essential. Experience in affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.) is preferred, along with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collections to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration while ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare end-of-month reports.
