Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager.

You will help manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow, supervise on-site staff, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and administration while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management: post payments and income; reconcile receivables; monitor bad debt; help meet budgeted revenues and NOI.
• Administrative Management: manage customer service; supervise maintenance; plan resource use and vendor bids.
• Personnel Management: onsite staff supervision; training; coaching; leasing management; resident retention programs.

Education
