Job summary

Vancouver Public Schools Discovery Middle School in Vancouver, Washington seeks a Special Program Paraeducator 2 for the Integrated Communication & Sensory Program. This one-on-one position runs 6.5 hours per day, 9 months per year, with an immediate start.

You will work closely with the classroom teacher to support students with disabilities, implement IEP goals, monitor progress, collect data, and assist with behavior management and classroom routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 72 quarter/48 semester credits or ParaPro score 455+.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities under teacher direction.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals and educational programs.
• Collect data and monitor student progress to inform instruction.
• Assist with classroom routines and behavior management.
