Job summary

Felida Elementary in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Special Program Paraeducator 2 for the Integrated Communication & Sensory Program. This one-on-one role is 6.5 hours per day, 9 months per year, with non-exempt status.

Starting immediately, you will support a student under the guidance of the classroom and Special Education teachers. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, documentation of progress, and adherence to district training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Official transcripts or ParaPro results may be required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Experience on an educational team preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teacher in implementing and evaluating goals.
• Monitor and collect data as directed by the teacher.
• Provide instructional assistance and behavior support.
• Assist with data entry and record keeping.
• Attend training meetings to broaden expertise.
