Job summary

Mercy Coletta Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This on-site role supports front-desk operations, schedules appointments, and helps ensure a positive patient experience while handling financial interactions with patients.

The PSR will communicate patient financial responsibility, collect payments, explain payment options, and thoroughly document conversations and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including data entry and word processing.
• Excellent customer service and empathy required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy per policy.
