Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the field-based SPOC for oncology patients and providers in the US. You will guide enrollment, educate on coverage and cost-sharing, and maintain compliant case documentation within our systems from Durham/North Carolina territory.

The role requires clinical and payer-navigation experience, willingness to travel, and adherence to HIPAA and program policies while coordinating with back-office and specialty teams to ensure patients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, insurance verification, prior authorization, or access programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP office staff, providing approved information on oncology care and coverage.
  • Guide patients through enrollment in GSK PAP and related services, including required documents and consent capture.
  • Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
  • Document all interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM per program standards.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and segregation of patient-facing vs. account-facing activity.
  • Coordinate with Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, and Benefits teams as needed.
