GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager (PAM) in the Los Angeles area to serve as the field-based SPOC for patients, caregivers, and oncology providers. You will guide enrollment, explain coverage and payment options, and coordinate with specialty pharmacy and back-office teams.

The role emphasizes HIPAA-compliant, accurate documentation in CRM and collaboration with Oncology Sales and payer teams. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or related areas.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residence within territory or within 30 miles of territory border preferred.
• Experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, guiding them on coverage, enrollment, and payment questions.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies using approved materials.
• Support access case resolution by explaining benefit investigation outcomes and prior authorization requirements.
• Escalate complex payer issues to the specialist access function and leadership.
• Document all interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud and maintain accurate records.
