US Oncology Inc. is seeking a New Patient Coordinator to join the Surgery Department at Texas Oncology in Dallas. This full-time onsite role supports patient registration, scheduling, and records management in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The position requires 2 years of revenue cycle/patient access experience and proficiency with PMS/EHR systems, along with strong Microsoft Office skills, to ensure accurate documentation and timely care coordination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years revenue cycle and/or patient access experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple PMS and EHR platforms preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel) required.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and insurance benefits and eligibility verification.
• Must successfully complete onboarding courses within 45 days.

Responsabilités

• Under direct supervision, responsible for new patient coordination activities that may include account and insurance registration and scheduling of new patients for exams and procedures.
• Maintains patient records, prepares forms, verifies information, and resolves routine and non-routine problems.
• Follows standard procedures and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks.
• Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
