The US Oncology Network’s Texas Oncology is seeking a New Patient Coordinator for the Dallas Sammons Cancer Center. This full-time role supports new patient intake, scheduling, and insurance verification, ensuring a smooth patient experience from referral to initial visit.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in revenue cycle or patient access, familiarity with PMS/EHR systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Onboarding must be completed within 45 days.

Qualifikationen

• Two (2) years revenue cycle and/or patient access experience in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple PMS and EHR platforms preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel) required.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and insurance benefits verification.
• Must complete onboarding courses within 45 days of start.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the new patient referral process within department standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and stakeholders.
• Assess patient needs to prioritize and triage referrals.
• Answer calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
• Verify and register patient accounts in the practice management system.
• Inform patients about appointment details and required forms.
• Keep physician schedules updated and coordinate with clinical team.
