Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years revenue cycle and/or patient access experience in healthcare preferred with progressive responsibility.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and insurance benefits verification.
• Experience with PMS and EHR platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the new patient referral process within department standards.
• Be the clinic's first point of contact, providing strong customer service.
• Assess patient needs to prioritize and triage referrals.
• Answer calls, take messages and respond to inquiries from patients and providers.
• Verify and register patient accounts and consolidate required information.
• Facilitate insurance benefit and eligibility investigations.
• Provide appointment details and distribute forms for initial visits.
