Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic sales professional in the United States to grow relationships with new and existing accounts, present Merit products, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure timely delivery and feedback on product needs and innovations. The role requires strong presentation skills, a commitment to achieving sales goals, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of three years of direct sales experience, preferably in selling medical products.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a sales relationship.
• High degree of personal motivation and drive to achieve goals.
• Excellent oral presentation skills and quick problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn medical equipment usage and explain improvements.
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet organizational goals.
• Strong business math skills for percentages and pricing.
• Strong personal organization to record and report work performed.
• Ability to travel extensively and work long hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts; present and demonstrate Merit products.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales staff to ensure timely product delivery.
• Make pricing decisions within approved limits to optimize sales and profitability.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and identify product improvement opportunities.
• Participate in training and planning meetings to learn about new products and promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of Merit and competitor products and their advantages.
