Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a field-based sales professional to present Merit products to healthcare accounts across the United States. You will cultivate relationships with clinicians and administrators, deliver product demonstrations, and secure pricing contracts to drive growth.

Travel is extensive, and success depends on building trust, providing superb customer service, and collaborating with the Merit marketing and sales teams to align product offerings with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years direct sales experience, preferably medical products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High motivation and drive to achieve goals.
• Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to explain complex information to clinicians.
• Ability to travel extensively and work long hours.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sell Merit products to new and existing accounts and confirm product satisfaction.
• Deliver in-service presentations to clinicians on new products and uses.
• Maintain close client relationships to understand and meet needs.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales to ensure timely delivery and feedback for product innovation.
• Prepare pricing contracts and follow up to grow sales and profitability.
• Travel as required to meet with customers and perform sales duties.
