Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to cover the Phoenix South, Arizona territory. You will engage with customers, educate stakeholders about our oncology products, and strive to meet or exceed sales goals within your district.

The role requires travel 10% and relocation flexibility, with remote work options and a competitive compensation package including an annual bonus and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience.
• Minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience can be sales, healthcare/scientific background with oncology focus, marketing, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers.
• Communicate a compelling, patient-centered rationale for our Oncology products.
• Understand cancer treatment pathways and guidelines relevant to different tumors.
• Analyze buying patterns across multiple distribution channels (GPOs, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies).
• Develop and execute short- and long-term plans with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and district manager.
