Job summary

Merck’s Oncology Sales team is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to cover the Phoenix South, Arizona territory. You will engage customers, educate stakeholders, and drive usage of oncology products while meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Travel 10% is required with visits to customers, national meetings, and conferences. A strong background in sales, healthcare, and customer relationship management will support success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales/healthcare.
• 6+ years of sales experience.
• Willingness to travel 10% with overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle.
• Residence near the district.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and uncover needs.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for Oncology products.
• Understand cancer care pathways and treatment options.
• Analyze market trends and multiple distribution channels.
• Collaborate with Oncology Customer Team Leader and district manager.
