Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to cover the Washington, D.C. territory. This field-based role requires travel to visit customers and participate in national meetings, with overnight travel as needed.

You will work with a team to meet or exceed sales goals, educate stakeholders about oncology products, and build relationships within the oncology community while navigating complex buying environments and local market dynamics.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience.
• Or high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle.
• Travel the amount of time the role requires, including overnight travel 10 - 15%.
• Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the district.

Responsabilidades

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Meet with stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for oncology products in indicated uses.
• Understand cancer staging, treatment options, and guidelines.
• Analyze trends in a complex buying environment across multiple distribution channels.
• Develop short- and long-term plans in collaboration with the local team and district manager.
• Engage with customers to understand priorities and needs for meaningful conversations about the portfolio.
