Job summary

Labcorp Oncology is seeking a field-based Oncology Development Executive to drive growth across the Burbank/ Pasadena territory. You will spearhead strategic partnerships with health systems and cancer centers, delivering diagnostic and precision medicine solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in oncology sales/diagnostics, strong communication, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. Travel up to 75% and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 9 years of experience; or Associate degree with 7 years' experience; or Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
• 5 years of business development, territory management, or strategic account management experience
• 5 years of oncology sales, oncology diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, pharmaceutical oncology, biotechnology oncology, laboratory services, or precision medicine commercial experience

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive new business acquisition, competitive conversion, and revenue growth.
• Develop and execute territory strategies to increase adoption of Labcorp Oncology solutions.
• Achieve revenue, market share, and new account objectives.
• Manage daily activity, pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity tracking through Salesforce CRM.
• Build relationships with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead consultative sales engagements focused on diagnostic solutions, operational efficiency, and testing strategy optimization.
• Develop account growth plans that expand utilization across complex healthcare organizations.
• Influence testing pathways and adoption strategies.
• Represent Labcorp's oncology and precision medicine portfolio, including molecular and genomic testing solutions.
• Translate clinical evidence into business-focused recommendations.
• Maintain current knowledge of oncology diagnostics and precision medicine trends.
• Partner with sales support functions, medical affairs, operations, market access, and leadership teams to support growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitive activity and market opportunities.
• Participate in local or national conferences which may require weekend or evening availability.
