Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) seeks an Admixture Tech II to prepare hazardous and nonhazardous meds under the supervision of the dispensing practitioner. You will handle sterile and non-sterile admixtures, manage inventory, and communicate with Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Operations, Financial Counselors, and Procurement to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

The role requires 1+ year pharmacy/admixture experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to travel

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification required; preferably PTCB.
• Minimum one year experience as pharmacy/admixture technician, preferably in a clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Review medication orders to ensure accuracy and determine products needed.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile admixtures as ordered by the prescriber.
• Don and doff PPE to ensure aseptic preparation of hazardous and non-hazardous drugs.
• Maintain records and logs including clinical research trials and temperature logs.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs; coordinate with various departments.
