Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute seeks an Admixture Tech II to perform complex sterile and non-sterile admixture tasks under supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety in preparation of oncology medications.

You will handle ordering, inventory, and coordination between physicians, nursing, and pharmacy operations, with travel as needed to meet clinic demands. A minimum of one year in a pharmacy setting is required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification (or equivalent) required; preferably CPhT.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician.
• IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and required products.
• Perform calculations for admixture drug measurements.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Don PPE and participate in aseptic technique for hazardous/non-hazardous drugs.
• Maintain records/logs for clinical trials, drug temperatures, and inventory management.
