Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Admixture Tech II to prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under supervision. You will review orders, calculate dosages, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The role requires one year of admixture experience, a pharmacy tech certification, and strong PPE discipline; travel not required. Expect collaboration with Physicians, Nursing, and Pharmacy Operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification required; preferably Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician, preferably in a clinical setting.
• IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and required products.
• Calculate drug measurements for admixture accurately.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Perform proper donning and doffing of PPE to ensure aseptic preparation.
