Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex sterile and non-sterile drug preparation under supervising pharmacists. The role involves precise calculations, PPE discipline, and meticulous recordkeeping across multiple sites.

Travel 75–100% weekly to meet clinic needs; requires pharmacy technician certification, one year of related experience, and attention to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) required; CPA/Pharmacy tech board preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and required products.
• Calculate drug measurements for admixture.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered.
• Don PPE properly for aseptic preparation of hazardous/nonhazardous drugs.
• Maintain records and logs for clinical trials, waste, and temperatures.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs.
• Ensure proper inventory management and drug reconciliation.
• Complete required education and regulatory training.
• Travel to meet clinic needs (75–100% weekly).
