You will handle sterile and non-sterile medications, maintain records, and support multiple departments to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) required; preferably CPhT from PTCB.
• Minimum one year as a pharmacy or admixture technician; IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review medication orders for accuracy, quantity, and suitability.
• Perform calculations to determine drug measurements for admixtures.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered in a timely manner.
• Don PPE properly to ensure aseptic preparation of hazardous/non-hazardous drugs.
• Maintain records and logs for clinical trials, waste, temperatures, and inventories.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Operations, Financial Counselors, and Procurement.
