Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support admixture and dispensing operations. The role covers sterile and non-sterile preparation under supervision, inventory control, and collaboration with physicians, nursing, and procurement to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, CPT/CPhT certification, and at least one year of relevant experience; IV sterile admixture is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification (or equivalent); preferably CPhT from PTCB.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy/admixture technician in a clinical setting.
• IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and calculate drug measurements.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Perform proper donning and doffing of PPE for aseptic preparation.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs; maintain inventory.
