Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is hiring an Admixture Tech II to prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under supervision. You will manage orders, perform precise drug measurements, and handle hazardous drug preparation while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least one year in pharmacy/admixture tech, with IV sterile admixture experience preferred. Travel 75–100% weekly; excellent teamwork and meticulous records are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician.
• IV sterile admixture experience preferred.
• Pharmacy technician certification (or equivalent) required; preferably CPhT from PTCB.
• Must be able to work remotely effectively as required.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders to ensure accuracy, ascertain products needed, and evaluate their suitability.
• Perform calculations to determine drug measurements for admixture.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Don and doff PPE to ensure aseptic preparation of hazardous/non-hazardous drugs.
• Maintain records and logs for trials, waste, and regulatory compliance.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations, Nurses, and Procurement to ensure seamless patient care.
• Float admixture techs travel 75–100% weekly.
