Job summary

Collectors is seeking a People Operations Program Manager to own, design, and continually improve our employee onboarding across the organization. This role focuses on US onboarding with potential expansion to global processes, reporting to the VP of Talent Management and People Operations, and requires collaboration with IT, HR, and business leaders to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience managing onboarding, new hire programs, or HR operations processes.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
• Data-driven mindset with experience using HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certification.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the company-wide onboarding process, from pre-boarding through Day 1, with an initial focus on US onboarding.
• Partner with TA, IT, Learning, Workplace, Benefits, Payroll, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for onboarding issues and drive SLA-exemption decisions.
• Manage onboarding workflows in Workday HRIS and document standard processes.
• Ensure compliance with background checks and I-9/E-Verify within required timeframes.
