Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to lead the company-wide onboarding program from pre-boarding through Day 1, initially focusing on US onboarding with potential global expansion.

You will drive standard practices across locations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver data-driven recommendations to HR leadership. The role partners with TA, IT, Learning, Workplace, Benefits, Payroll, and Hiring Managers to guarantee a smooth Day 1 experience and accurate system

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience managing onboarding, new hire programs, or HR operations processes.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
• Data-driven mindset with HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the company-wide employee onboarding process from pre-boarding through Day 1.
• Identify and drive process improvements across onboarding and update playbooks.
• Ensure onboarding practices comply with federal, state, local regulations.
• Partner with TA, IT, Learning, Workplace, Benefits, Payroll, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience.
• Lead cross-functional onboarding SLA governance and resolution.
• Manage Workday HRIS workflows and documentation with HRIS team.
