Job summary

Connecteam is seeking an Onboarding Manager to guide new customers from partnership handoff to payroll go-live and beyond. You will coordinate with partner Implementations and internal teams to configure employee data, time tracking, PTO, payroll rules, and integrations while ensuring accurate, timely payroll.

This role combines project management, system configuration, and customer training to deliver a smooth onboarding experience and durable customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer-facing SaaS role with SMB & Mid Market client sizes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer implementations and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn software, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations and data flows.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach when managing complex implementations.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer onboarding process from handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization.
• Lead discovery and solution design by understanding workflows and translating requirements into Connecteam setups.
• Configure relevant Connecteam account settings and manage integrations.
• Deliver training and manage stakeholders; train clients and managers on time tracking and payroll workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, escalate payroll-impacting risks, and maintain accurate account records and handoff documentation.
