Job summary

Connecteam is seeking an Onboarding Manager to guide new customers from partnership handoff through successful payroll launch. You will combine project management, system configuration, and customer training to ensure accurate, on-time payroll and a smooth onboarding experience.

The role involves collaborating with partner Implementation Managers and Connecteam teams, coordinating data, time tracking, PTO, payroll rules, and integrations to deliver value for SMB and mid-market clients across

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or customer-facing SaaS roles.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations and priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training abilities to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn software quickly, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations and data flows.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal/external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer onboarding process from internal handoff through go-live and payroll stabilization.
• Lead discovery and solution design by understanding workflows and translating requirements into Connecteam setups.
• Configure integrations and account settings relevant to Connecteam deployments.
• Deliver training to clients and managers on time-tracking and payroll workflows.
• Coordinate across customers, partners, Sales, Support, Product, Integrations, and leadership.
• Investigate issues across the full workflow and escalate payroll-impacting risks with proper documentation.
