Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Tech II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of fleets. You’ll operate a company vehicle and work in a mobile/field environment with a schedule Tue–Sat 11am–8pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; DOT regulations knowledge a plus.
• DOT pre-employment background screen and DOT physical may be required.
• Must provide/tools necessary to perform required duties; 21+ years old and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT Inspections, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems and related trailer equipment.
• Operate and maintain service truck and safety checks; manage parts inventory and documentation (ROs) using TRAiT app.
