Cox Fleet, a division of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician. This role performs licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile/field setting.

Typical shift is 11am–7:30pm, Tue–Sat, with 100% travel and support for a nationwide fleet. Responsibilities include diagnostics, parts management, and documentation using TRAIT on an iOS device, while adhering to OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required; 3 years related field experience (or 5 years in related field).
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months of hire.
• Valid DOT/regulatory compliance eligibility and driver requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy‑duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and drivetrain systems.
• Document work and parts used on RO via iOS device using TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company service truck.
• Ensure safety policies and DOT regulations are followed.
